GREENPHIL MINERAL EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT CO. INC., (Greenphil) is a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines to, among others, engage in Mining, dredging and quarrying activities, enter into various contracts and participate in other activities in the mining & dredging business and trade in the Philippines and elsewhere, in accordance with applicable law.
Greenphil has been given the authority to conduct dredging operations in the Western River Basins of Mt. Pinatubo – Downstream Portion of Bucao River, Botolan, Zambales, Philippines as per Dredging Operations Permit No. DOP-2020- 005 issued September 28, 2020 in connection with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Administrative Order No. 13, Series of 2019, entitled “Rationalizing the Dredging Activities in the Heavily-Silted River Channels of Bucao in Botolan, Maloma in San Felipe and Sto. Tomas Traversing the San Marcelino, San Narcisio and San Felipe Municipal, in the Province of Zambales” as amended by DAO No. 24-2019.
Greenphil has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with top local and foreign dredging and mining companies as well to participate in this dredging project. The Greenphil Consortium has an aggregate capital of at least One Billion Pesos (PhP 1,000,000,000.00) with Greenphil having the controlling interest in the consortium.
Greenphil will endeavor to do best practices in river dredging and river sand quarrying to implement flood-control projects in a sustainable way that we can achieve positive impact and prevent damage to the environment specifically in Bucao River.
Considering the importance of our waterways, various government agencies mainly the Provincial Government of Zambales, DPWH, DENR and other agencies have set the guidelines on all river dredging activities for flood-control projects and quarrying purposes specifically in the province of Zambales.
